How much of an expense (and pain in the neck) is an above ground pool?

Question:a 15 ft. round (not too big)

i'm trying to persuade the heads of the household =)

Answers:
I use a tablet of clorine approx every 2 days, cost is approx 75 cents a day, depending on trees, wind, and where you live, you will ned to vacuum least a couple times a week. I leave my filter run 12 hrs a day, every day. The more you use the pool, the cleanner it will stay.

Above the ground pools do offer a considerable advantage over inground pools because of the costs to install however, it should be noted that above the ground pools do require a great deal of maintenance. So much so that within a few years time most homeowners either give up or decide upon installing a permanent pool.
Many are cheap enough to afford a new one every year. To re-use, the pool must be properly cleaned and stored and you may get a few years out of it. Don't forget in use maintenance costs.
I think that an above ground pool is great. They do not require much maintenance if you use them correctly. Another thing about them, you can take them down later. i think that they are also cheap and a great thing to consider. Just remember the chemicals :D
