Broken laughing buddha?

Question:I have kept laughing buddha with me for many years and it did get me the benefits. Two days back, while my little daughter was doing something with the showcase, it accidently fell down and broke into many peices. I have still kept him.. just the face and shoulder portion since that is intact. Anybody having any opinion on this please...

Answers:
Replace it with a new one.

you could have tried to glue him back together but since you only have a certain part of him left, then start shoppin for a new one. you could go to ebay or stores in the mall to find one.
First of all, do not attach any importance to the incident. Buddha himself was against such beliefs.

Secondly, the main part is still intact, so will your luck be.

It will be best for you to get a small glass or ttransparent acrylic box of a size suited to accommodate the head and shoulders, install the head on a suitable velvet cushion and put him back.

All will be well.
Afraid your out of luck. With out the belly to rub, they just don't seem to work real well. Now if you also collect Santas you might try taking the head off one of them and gluing the belly portion on to the Buda. I have heard this technique works most of the time, especially around Christmas. Otherwise you probably need to get out the old horseshoe, unless of course you have an abundance of rabbits in your yard.
you can keep glue and keep it in your show case
get over.... buy new one and carefully immerse ALL the pieces in river ..its not good for luck, to keep broken idol.
best of luck.
