How can I deter Armadillos from digging under my house?

Question:My house is on piers and Armadillos the little tanks have knocked off my siding and are digging under my home

We have moles not armadillos, but I think they are similar. They make mole traps that you simply plant underground near their tunnels to kill the things. I know it sounds harsh, but it does work. You might also try digging a trench and putting wire mesh like chickenwire in it as a block then refilling the hole.
