A friend of mine told me "There are no bugs In Southern California.?
Question:We were discussing the bug population due to our recent siege of rainfall in K.C. and she informed me that when she was growing up in the L.A. area there were absolutely NO BUGS of any kind except maybe ants. I said "Oh, Come ON!..." But she refused to budge from this story.
Any of you Californians seen any bugs lately?

Im a truck driver and I have the unfortunate displeasure of traveling in California. Let me assure you that there are plenty of bugs.
That is totally false. Some species of bug do not exist in the climate but we have plenty of little criters!!

Im in Southern California and i can tell you...WE HAVE TONS OF BUGS LOL Today i even seen the really weird huge beetle that scared the crude out of me. Spiders, you name it we got it.

Your friend is lying to you. Sure there's bugs. I once saw a large horde of cockroaches, near the entrance to FantasyLand, at Disneyland. Thousands of the critters were running out of the grass, onto the pavement. And of course, mosquitos, and june bugs (beetles) and along with the Mexicans, there's lots of flys ! Yep, there's lots of bugs in California !

I live by Bakersfield,ca. We do not have lady bugs,dragon flies or mosquitoes.but we have flies,no see ems and ants due to the fruit around us.Flies year round.But natural things for the garden no.They do not have worms when you dig up ground.I'm from La.and I know what bugs are the good and the bad..Natural?I think not.
