Ways to attract dragonflies?

Question:Im in central alberta and have found myself with a recent fasination with dragonflies. I was wondering if there is any specific ways to attract them to my yard.

Answers:
It is true that you must have some sort of a water feature to attract dragonflies. But to keep mosquitos from breeding you must keep the water moving. So it has to be either a pool with a filter, or a pond which has a pump that keeps the water flowing all the time.

Unfortunately, I think the best way to attract them is with a pond of any size.including a barrel. Unfortunately, mosquitos will breed in standing water as well. Here's the link.
