Actually lawn watering should be done early am hours before the sun is up or peaking.watering at night gives it no time to feed hardly and water stays on the surface..you can actually breed a mold that will rot the roots...also ..the bugs forage at night the most..and they love a good swim, nice and moist...watering at night, you might as welll put out matchstick furniture for the insects to leisure on.
