Lombardi Poplar - they are a tree - start small and grow a couple of feet a year to about 30 or 40 feet tall. The down side is that they only live for about 15 or 20 years, then they die ... so you cut 'em down and plant new ones!
A Tulip tree grows very fast. The leaves are shaped like a tulip. It is a nice shaped tree which needs very little maintanence.
