My man has his computer parts all over the house?
Question:I am looking for a neat way of toring those things. All the wires, mouse parts. Its all in the living room since he is putting things together while watching TV. I have containers and shelves, but :
a. There is always new stuff that doesn't fit
b. Containers in the living room?
The wires and elec parts are dirivng me nuts, plus, my mom in law is coming to visit soon and this is the first time she sees the place. Help!

My man always has all of the sh!t all over the house too. I just wrap up all of the cords neatly with rubber bands.
First of all why is it just your problem, he made the mess so he should pick up his mess and put it away. Why should you be left to do it. My moto on that is if I have to ask the person more than 3 times to pick it up, then it hits the trash. Simple as that. He will learn real quick to pick it up or will be digging threw the trash all the time to get his parts.
Dude he is not a child tell him to pick up after himself I mean it is cool to leave stuff lying about sometime but, he is not a child. I am a computer guy to you should make him a work shop or something and put a TV in there so that way he can work out of site out of mind and then when it is dirty just put the door shut quick cheap way of cleaning do not look at it works for me all the time.
I know it must look terrible! But you need to make sure he is part of the solution or whatever you choose will not get used!
Whenever one of us just imposes a "solution" on the other, it hardly ever gets used.
He needs to understand that having everything everywhere is a problem. And then he needs to agree to do something about it. Maybe its a large coffee table - all his stuff can be "stuffed" into the and the doors closed. Or maybe its something else.
The first problem to solve though is getting him to understand that there is a problem!
