Answers:
i used to work for DHL and all that means is the bar code has been scaned onto a particular run and there fore should be with you today but dont hold your breath

If you do go out, DHL tend not to leave a card saying they've been so keep checking on the website.
"Out for delivery" means that it has been scanned and is on the delivery truck. You will be getting a knock on the door sometime before 6:00 pm.
What'd ya get anyway?
BTW, the only way you'll miss it is if they need a signature. If not, they will just leave it at your door or at a neighbors house.
Should be on the van, but unless you asked for a before 9/12 etc expect it anytime as the driver will have a route he likes to use and will deliver your item when hes near you on his run..
find their phone number and give them a call. just mention the ref of the parcel, you'll get an idea whether to stay home or ....
