How long does the sand on the bottom of a pool take to harden?

Question:The sand below the plastic how long will it take to harden?

Answers:
It will be firm and not shift as soon as the pool is filled. The weight of the water will keep it from shifting around. You can actually move it with your foot if you try hard enough, but a properly prepared substrate with play sand will be firm enough to withstand jumping, walking, etc when the weight of water is on it.

First, sand shouldn't have been used. Dirt should. And it should have been packed and hardened before the liner was put over it.
wow, if you mean like harden into rock?, then you out of luck because it will tale about 1 million years!
other tha that, if you just want it to get dried out and rough, then it will take about 2 weeks depending were u live.
add some water to it so the sand will stick togeather. other than that, dont put water on it at all.
if u r in a cold area, then it will take 4 evr!! trust me
sand does not harden under water even at great depths and if it was clay and it would just be slippery
