How can I kill all the drunkards?
Question:My house has been overrun by all these fruitflies (called drunkards by the people in our area). I have tried pouring bleach down the drain, pouring baking soda and bleach down the drain, I make sure there is no food stuff in the garbage can, I am keeping the fruits refridgerated (even though that is not where they hang out), hiding the kitchen sponge. I even made a bait trap and that works for a while but its not great. I haven't found a spray that works on them. I keep a clean house but it feels gross when I walk into the kitchen and 200 million drunkards are swarming my sink. What on earth can i do to be rid of these creatures?

This is how I did it. Get a fresh trash bag, insert a banana, or whatever you have that the flies go for. Leave it set open overnight. In the morning, close the top of the bag quickly to keep them from escaping. Either take them outside and release them or dispose of the entire bag. I have used on occasion, a vacuum cleaner, and just suck the little buggers right up. This works when they are landing everywhere. Just get the end of the wand close and the suction pulls them right in.
Pyrethryn spray that can be used indoors may be the answer. I had a ladybug problem and this helped alot. May have to call an exterminator to find the source of the problem.
i have the same thing 2 things i did was go on top of your home and pour what you used down the drain , into the vent pipe, and next buy a bug zapper with a light on it (which some come with) a small one with closer wires and at night they go to the light source and ZAP and that did it for me
put alot of dich soap in the sink or dichurgent will work better.
Buy a carnivorous plant!!IT's very useful!!
This is the same problem i suffered with.ok all you have to do is make sure that there is no food out on the counter or in exposed areas.no liquids.or anything a drunkard would like to eat and they will eventually leave!
Believe it or not, I take the vaccuum hose and suck them all out of the air. Works like a charm!!
