Spider problem?

Question:I have a spider problem. There is a lot of them in the garden, they damage plants because they make nests in the leaves and eat them from inside, just like the caterpillars do, they eat the flowers off my plants (especially honeysuckle - it has not been able to open all the flowers properly) and roses. And they are getting inside of the house and nest there - I am tired of removing webs.
I think this is not normal - maybe I have a big nest somewhere? Why is this happening and what to do about it?
Thanks

I also agree with Pestie58, and Joan S. You need to make sure that the spiders on your plants are not "Spider Mites". Mites are minute pests that suck juices from underside of foliage. SYMPTOMS: stippled leaves appear dry; turn brown, red, yellow, or grey; then curl and drop off. Webs may be visible on the undersides of leaves. SOLUTIONS: clean up trash and weeds in early spring to destroy breeding places. Spray with Vendex or insecticidal soaps. You can also take a sample to a reparable local nursery, and they can tell you what the problem is. As for the problem in your home, call Pestie58. Only joking, but you should call an expert to evaluate the indoor spider problem.

I would call someone to check it out. Have you tried using any repellents?
To get rid of spiders, put cedar chips into the toes of old pantyhose, and hang the hose in areas where spiders spin their webs. To discourage spiders from starting webs, spray rubbing alcohol on windowsills, or leave perfumed soap chips scattered about.
spiders are carnivorous.
I do not believe they are eating your plants.
The leaf curling spider may take a leaf and curl it to make a home but that's about it.
I think you need to take a closer look to find out what really is damaging your plants.
The fact that you have a lot of spiders in your garden would indicate you have a problem and the spiders are helping you control the problem.
In other words the problem would be worst without the spiders.
Spiders are a natural form of pest control.
As a pest controller i don't like to kill spiders without a good reason.dangerous or entering the home.
I suggest you get advice form a garden expert about the plant problem.
If you feel you must kill them then get a pest controller.
I agree with Pestie58, unless what you have is red spider mite. These are tiny and like dry places, spraying your plants and watering them frequently can keep these at bay.
call pest control
go to home depot or lowes and ask for traizone it by ortho in a green bag kill spider and ants
