Buying from a Tennessee Wholesale nursery?

Question:What is needed to buy from a wholesale only nursery? What is the minimum requirement? Contractors license? Any info would be helpful.

Answers:
Contact the nursery to see if you need a license. Sometimes you don't, sometimes they just require a minimum amount of items purchased. Your best bet would be to call whoever you wanted to deal with and ask them directly.

You need to get a Tennessee Nursery License. In Michigan it runs about $50/year and going up. Other states are more. You should contact your dept. of agriculture for details.

Each wholesale nursery has a minimum. This varies with each nursery. The nursery I work for has about a $800 minimum.

If you act like an amateur, most will demand to see your license or refuse to sell to you.

Your plants will not be guaranteed, as they are at retail.
