Is it ok to kill rats/mice?
Question:my brother keeps on buying mouse traps,and he keeps on makin his own traps to kill rats. yes i know rats are pests. they eat our left over, and sometimes, even the food that are served for us.thing is .they dont know that it's not for them. i feel sorry for the rats because theyre being punished and tortured for getting a tiny piece of our delicious food. awhile ago.my bro caught a mice n his glue trap.and then 1st he shot it with hs pellet gun and then hit it with a bottle many times and then.uh i dont wna elaborate on that. i can feel it's pain while it's being tortured:( is it ok? how can we get rid of rats without hurting them?

Don´t feel sorry, Rats carry diseases and are a danger to health. They also breed rapidly- one female rat may produce 50 young a year. Rats rarely infest the average home, but may get into sheds and out houses. I suggest you get in touch with your Environmental Health Department at your local council offices. Rats soon become wary of traps or poisoned bait-baits based on difenacoum or bromadiolone, that you can lay down yourself, are sometimes effective. However, the Environmental Health Department. should get rid of them free, or for a small charge.
I think it's ok to kill them, but torture's going a little far...

Rats and mice are a nuisance in the household. They should be killed, but by an humane method. No animal should be subjected to torture.
Good old fashioned spring trap works fine.
for one thing quit feeding them .they eat anything and you dont need that kind of pets. so feed them dcon good luck
it is okay to kill,but not torture.one should get rid of rat /mice ,they are very harmfull for your health.
