Organic solution for Dogwood fungus?
Question:I have four ornamental dogwoods in my lawn which are approximately 20 years old. With recent rains and humidity, they have suffered several fungal outbreaks. What have you found to be the best organic remedy/control for these mature, 20-foot trees?
Answers:
Try Green Cure .(Potassium carbonate) Developed at Cornell . I seem to remember Dogwood on the label . New, so haven't seen it tried on dogwood yet (Can I borrow some of your rain? ;D)

Ps. Make sure to thoroughly clean up any dogwood debris . Keep 'em watered, if it gets dry . Many fungus troubles are the result of drought-stress , especially if followed by extended wet weather. Trim any branches ( & esp "water sprouts") near the ground , as much disease is soil-borne , & can splash onto leaves . Wipe any tools with a bleach-soaked rag , between cuts . Thin the canopies , for better air circulation, if that seems possible.
