What are the black beetles on the floor and outside along the foundation of my house?
Question:These black beetles about an inch long are in my house and outside the edge of the foundation. I looked up carpet beetles, and they dont look like them.. carpet beetles appear to be smaller and rounder. the beetles I have are longer and not as round please help!

They are most likely just house beetles.They usually live in the earth under the house. They are pretty harmless.
Maby a water bettle.
