Do you waste money on household goods?
Question:What stuff do you buy that just sits around indoors that you have never or rarely used? mine include the good old exercise bike, bread maker, slow cooker etc etc.

mine include: lateral trainer,cocktail maker,sandwich toaster,rice cooker,pie magic,and the list goes on.they must see me coming!!!!!!!
No if I don't plan on using it more than once a week then I don't buy it. However if I need to use something like a bread machine I borrow it from a friend or family. If it hasn't been used in 6 months I donate it to charity.
i have an 80 pound bag of play sand, an electric dog polisher, a fur sink, the karaoke machine and the food sealer
same here exercise stuff, bread maker, coffee machines, bought a vacumn sealing bag thingy, never took it out of box, same with those large bags for storing clothes and you use vac to suck air out, only used once. the list is endless

I waste money too. I agree with what a lot of posters have brought and never use. It is something that cannot be helped.
i will not buy any household good that i will never use or intend to use. also will never buy items that shall rarely use but get job done by outsourcing.
i bought a juicer but it was so hard to clean, i only used it once and now its sat at the back of my kitchen cupboard!! Also got a gym ball that is inflated and sitting in my bedroom having been used 4 times!
I always try to think whether I'll get good use out of it before I buy.
Stop buying stuff, it all has to be made from scarce raw materials, in a factory (probably in China) that belches out pollutants.
You can give the stuff away on "Freecycle", and you'll find your life less cluttered.
The fundamental principle of Capitalism is that the more things you have, the happier you are.
That may help big business (to get your money), but I think you'll agree the theory is rediculously flawed.
