Damp basement apartment?
Question:i recently moved into a basement apartment, its really a cute place, small, but nice, its very damp down here, but its nice a nd cool in this warm, hot weather,any one have any ideas on how to get rid of the dampness, without having to use a dehumidifier?? or having to run an electric heater?

While you are away run a fan and let the air flow.If it is flowing,it is drying.A fan in the main part would do the job.
Sorry a dehumidifier is the only way, if it is really damp you could be harboring molds which are unhealty for you.
