How can I get a cricket to stop curping when I can't find it?

Question:theres a cricket at my place, I know the general area it's in, but can't find it. is there anyway i can don something to gewt it to stop chirping all night

Answers:
Get a cat. The little furry freak will find it, no matter how long it takes!

Frogs and Squirrels love to eat crickets. So do snakes.

Crickets also like to burrow into grass clippings as they pile up, so if you have a lawn, you might be able to lure it to the location you know by making a small mound of grass clippings. Once there, you can catch it in a cage & release it elsewhere.

Chances are that there are more than one cricket, though. The chirping is for both mating, and for marking territory, so even if one is removed, other might move in or show up.

Maybe you should try to enjoy it a little. It is likely to stay even if the one is eliminated.
