10ft Easyset Swimming Pool?

Question:I bought a 10ft Pool yesterday and the man in Smyths advised me not to buy a heater as they only heat it an extra few degrees. I bought a solar cover for it instead. Can anyone tell me if they have tried these pools with or without a heater and what you thought. Can you also advise me if they are cat proof.

Answers:
i live in germany and solar cover works ok if in very sunny patch and you only want the chilli off ,if you want it warm would suggest a heater, but cat proof no , my cats thought it was good fun to chase the grass hopper up the side a it had more patches on it than pool in the end . binned it after 1 season. but got the filter still for some reason, must throw it.

Hi,

Yes! i have one!...and to be honest!...providing the pools left in a sunny position it heats up pritty well with just the sun!...its always going to be a bit cool when you jump in but you soon get used to it! but it all depends how much your bikini covers your bits!.lol...send me an e-mail if you need more help!
depending where you are of course, but we had one here in the UK?and no the solar cover is not brilliant and you will find that out? we got a heater and this really took the chill off the pool, without it we could barely put a toe into the pool it was that cold, the heater provides a much more pleasurable bathe,if it was going to be hot the next day,we turned it on the night before ,and it was lovely the following day, then you can turn it off?
