Why won't my green plum tree produce fruit?
Question:I have one green plum tree, and one yellow plum tree, planted side by side. The yellow tree produces fruit, but the green one won't. Does anyone know why or can provide tips to make the tree produce fruit?
Answers:
maybe you aren't giving it enough water
My sister has one that has not produced much at all in the past. The tree looked healthy, but no fruit. This year she started watering it and produced a huge crop. Try the water.
I would try watering it more often, and, if you're looking at fruit-bearing-trees.
Do you drink coffee? every few days, just as an absent thought, pour your left over coffee from the pot ((make sure it's cooled down first!)) on your tree. Coffee contains nitrates that are very valuable to food-producing-plants and Roses.
