How do you keep a gazing globe (yard decoration)..?

Question:on it's pedastel? I have a glass one, it's got a glass stem, and the pedastel has a hole in the top. The stem just kind of sits in the hole,(not snug) and I'm afraid a gust of wind will blow it off and break it. Any suggestions?

Answers:
I think the name of the stuff you want is florest clay. It is about the size of tape. You just pull some off and put it around the globe where it touches the base of the pedastel.

you can set it on a pedistal. Set some fun tack or something squishy between the ball and pedistal (out of sight of course). Make sure you put the ball away for the winter, they get so messed up when left out.
maybe some sort of glue or cement underneath
