I have ants in my couch yet, there's nothing there they could be attracted to.?
Question:I found fire ants climbing in and out of one of my couches, I searched and searched where the source was and why they were going to the couch, but i couldnt find anything, no crumbs, no candy, no dead animals or insects, they are just in the couch, I found where they were coming from .
Answers:
Ants usually are coming and going from something they can take to their nest. If there is no food source, they should not be in your couch. There is one possibility, but it is rare. There are ants that are attracted to termite nests. I have never seen this, but there is some evidence that it is true.
For the time being you just need to use a good ant killer and get rid of them. If you have kids or pets, be sure to put the poison where they will not be affected.
Spilled dried soft drink or something sweet i bet
maybe they came in on someones clothing from outside
They may be nesting in your couch.
Get some bug bombs to kill them and then vacuum everything and repeat bug bomb after a week.
it worked for me.
Maybe its your dead skin there after, because we lose skin a lot
Just spraying the area with "bug spray" will kill the ants you see but will not stop them. Most sprays kill and disrupt the pheromone trail which will scatter them. You need to find the source (Look all around outside)and use a bait to eliminate them.Or call a pro to help out.
