Why does water in a clear plastic bag keep flies away.?
Question:While attending a cook-out at a friends house, i notice that he had water in clear bags hanging around, he said they keep the flies away.Sure enough no flies !

never tried it yet. it's supposed to have something to do with thier vision(bag makes it look like a large body of water)
The wind moves the bag and the water. Flys don't like movement so go away from that area.
