how do you make them soft

Answers:
Wash them on the longest cycle available on your washing machine and add plenty of fabric softener to the final rinse. Dry on low heat. If they are a low thread count they will never really be soft until they are nearly worn out.

Wash them and use fabric softner in the rinse cycle
