How do I get rid of a paper wasp infestation?
Question:I know of at least five nests on my property, and can often see many wasps grouped together, possibly building more. I bought the yellow jacket traps, but they don't attract paper wasps. I've even knocked down many nests. As soon as one goes, there's another one to replace it. I'm sure this qualifies as an infestation.

I have lots of wasps swarming around as well. You can use the Raid Wasp and Hornet spray. Spray the nests just before dusk or at dawn when all the wasps are in. It sprays far and kills them within seconds so you don't have to worry about them coming after you. I have a bottle of a mixture of Dawn dishsoap and water for when they get inside my house. They breathe through their abdomens so the soapy water will suffocate them. There are fake hornet's nests that you can buy and hang out. Since hornets kill wasps they will avoid going anywhere near where they think hornets may be.
You have to kill them or they will keep building. use either a wasp & hornet killer from the store or carborator cleaner to kill them, just knocking down the nest wont do it,
