What's a good dishwasher to buy?
Question:I'm looking to buy a dishwasher. Which brands have you had success with? Which brands would you avoid? If I were buying a fridge, I'd avoid Kelvinator, but how about dishwashers? Do you have any suggestions for me?

I had a midgrade Maytag that I really liked. Quiet, cleaned well and reliable. The slides, drawers and all internals were very good quality. We moved and there is a Hotpoint here- what a piece o' crap. Cheap, noisy, poor quality stuff all around. I wouldn't buy one if given the chance. Go Maytag, Kitchenaid or Whirlpool Gold would be my recommendation.
