Help!!!cockroach and other insect?

Question:i'm 13 and there's a lot of cockroach and centipede(not sure)
i'm really phobia of insect how could i kill it without getting close at them.my dad won't buy a bugs spray.i saw 1 in bathroom and kitchen and bathtub..it really make me jump.help me.

Well first of all why won't ur dad get a bugs spray? Seriously thats what my family does everytime we see one of those. Everytime i see a cockroach I usually get a shoe and step on it. I know the sound of the CRUNCH is disgusting but thats like the only way. I don't like those bugs either but i face my fears the only thing i cant face is telling someone i like them. If there in the bathtub, sink, toliet drown them it always seemed to work for me.
