Skunks Smell?

Question:Hi Everyone,

A very strong skunks smell has started in my house. Needless to say that i can't sleep, I'm having a headache, and it is gonna stay like that for at least a week. I think it is road kill next to our street..

Has anyone face this problem before and how did you solve it ??

Thanks guys

Well you can get some freebreeze or orther deodorizers. Or just get used to the smell. Heck I accually like the smell of skunks dont ask me why I dont know. But I think its because it reminds me of home out in the country.

If you can spot where the skunk was killed, then pour a quart of tomato juice over the area. Or you can go to a pet store such as Petco and buy a gallon of skunk deodorizer. The tomato juice really works on dogs if they get sprayed.
well aren't you the lucky one!! hopefully it was just a skunk that sprayed and smell will be gone soon.. otherwise get lots of nice smelly things, glade plug-ins, room deotorizers anything is better than that wicked stench i'm sure.. try to keep breathin through ur mouth moreso than through ur nose lol.. good luck..
A skunk does not "spray" unless it is threatened in a life threatening manner. However, roadkill is another matter, an involuntary release of the scent from the glands which produce it. You have to find the source.. There are a number of things which can reduce the aroma, tomato juice works reasonably well, as a matter of fact, anything acidic, like vinegar, will also reduce the aroma, but nothing will eliminate it entirely. I feel for you. I was sprayed once by a skunk when I was about 5 years old, and believe me, I was scrubbed raw and it reduced the odor, but it took a long time for it to go away.
