Does an anti-mosquito plug in work? What does it do? Where to buy it?
Question:We live near a creek and get a couple of mosquitos in the house if we leave the door or window open (window screens need to be replaced). If there are any suggestions to deter the mosquitos i would appreciate it. I heard about an anti-mosquito plug-in, but have no idea what it does or where to buy it.

The anti-mosquito plug-in I know of is kinda like those plug-in air fresheners. It has two components. First is the heater that you plug into any convenience outlet. It also comes with a thin sheet of mosquito repellant that you put into the heater (before you plug it in). The heater heats up the sheet to "unleash" the repellant and drive mosquitoes away. I tried one of these but it seemed to make the mosquitoes angrier rather than actually drive them away. My advise is to always make sure that there are no stagnant water sources in your home (like flower vases or aquariums without aeration) coz this is where mosquitoes breed. You can also try natural mosquito repellants such as citronella or eucalyptus. Hope this helps!
yes they do.. they are easily availabe in any shop other kinds of mosquito repellents..
I bought a zapper at Home Depot two years ago, and absolutely love it. The squitos are attracted to the uv light, and are zapped before they realize what hit them...
