How do I prevent lizards from coming into my house?
Question:I stay in a 8th floor condo unit. Sometimes there are small flying insects coming into the house, they like the warmth lights so much, thus attracted some lizards. I cannot be spraying insecticide all the time because it's smelly, hazardous & non-environment friendly. Please share with me some solutions, cause I really hate lizards.

You might want to rethink your feelings towards lizards. They are getting rid of the insects for you without any hazardous insecticides and, for the most part, they are unobtrusive and generally keep to themselves. On those occasions when you happen to see one out hunting, put away your aversion and watch it for awhile. If you have ever actually watched one of these little critters stalk and bring down its prey (the insects you probably hate worse than lizards) you'll find that these reptiles are definitely worthy of respect.
you should get a thing that zaps the bugs and then the lizards will not come ... they only come for 2 reasons... 1 food (bugs) and 2 heat ... they need both and W/o food no lizards . and you can get a trap then move them away from home when you catch them. and you can get a thing from a store that keeps bugs away... nontoxic NO SMELL to humans ...also you could think about keeping the lizards they DO get Rid of the insects... but you dont like them so.......... I have them too but I don't let it bother me. They are not the same as rats or bugs. They are generally clean and eat any bugs that may be in your home. If you have lizards then you definately have bugs or the lizards wouldn't be there to eat them. The lizards follow the food source. I would consider them as friendly invaders unless they start showing up in your cereal or chocolate milk. I would have a problem if something interfered with my chocolate milk.
About the only solution I could think of given your scenario(8th floor condo), is maybe a couple of kittens. If they grow up to see the lizards as food you will eventually be rid of the problem of lizards, but have a plentiful supply of bugs, unless of course the cats eat them too!
I LOVE LIZARDS...MY CATS DO TO. HOW DO THE LIZARDS AND BUGS GET IN? IF THEY COULDNT GET IN U WOULDNT HAVE A PROBLEM.ALSO IF U POISON A LIZARD AND IT DIES ..SAY MAYBE IN THE SPRINGS OF YOUR COUCH,WHERE YOU CANT GET TO IT,THE SMELL IS PRETTY BAD.
