Can I grow Tomato plants indoors?

Question:I live in a top floor 1 bed flat and have no garden, can i grow a tomato plant indoors? Will i need lights etc? If so what ones? Help x

Tomatos need full sun. Do you have a balcony? It is really hard to grow tomatos under indoor lighting, but not impossible. You would need florescents that simulate sunshine, and put them on a timer for 12 hours a day.
