How to protect my roses against hot AZ sun?

Question:Does anyone know a solution how to build not expensive sunscreen which would be removable?

Answers:
I have seen people here in Oklahoma use white sheets over their flowers, vegetables, etc to help keep the sun from burning them. They fix them with dowel sticks stretched tightly over them. I hope this helps. This is my way of answering.
