How to get rid of ants in a specific area?
Question:i left some food out on a table, and when i woke up the table had lots of ants all over it. i removed the food source, which i thought would get rid of the ants because when they find food, they release some kind of chemical that calls other ants. however, they keep coming back but there is no food there. do i just let them keep wandering and hopefully they will stop? what should i do? thanks

Try either of these methods:
Mix the following ingredients in a spray bottle:
10 1/2 ounces of water
3 ounces of hot sauce (Tabasco works very well)
2 1/2 ounces liquid peppermint soap (available at health-food stores)
Just spritz on where ants enter your home.
ANT KILLER
1/2 cup molasses
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 envelope dry yeast
Mix all ingredients together. Place a few drops on pieces of cardobard, then place wherever ants are coming in.
wash that area with a mixture of water and vinegar.
try killing all the ants with hot water or bug repellent
go to the hardware store and buy an ant poison..comes in a syringe...place a small amount where the ants are swarming..they will eat the stuff and carry it back to the nests, kills the entire colony. Be careful about this poison...not to be used where pets can get to it. Good luck
