What's the best way to find an apartment in Ottawa?
Question:any websites to suggest?
Answers:
Craigslist is the best place I've found for looking for apartments, rooms to rent, sublets, etc. Also, you're more likely to find small places (or maybe even an affordable house to rent) there, if you like the idea of actually knowing the name of your landlord instead of dealing with some unfeeling corporate office. Also a lot of people post pictures, something you don't get just browsing the newspaper.
Here's the link for Ottowa:

check the want ads in your local paper.
Local classifieds, typical rental websites like www.rent.com, drive around and look for "For Rent" signs, word of mouth.
I'm not trying to be mean, but do you really need to post a simple question like this? You really need to someone to tell you how to look for an apartment. Isn't that common sense? I wouldn't think it matters where you live, it is the same across the world. You open up the paper, look around your town, etc. It is not rocket science. As far as online, just type in apartments and a million of apartment rental sites will come up. Sorry if I offended you, but questions like this just devalue FindHomeAnswers.
