I rented a summer house.i notice there are a lot of those big legged spiders.?
Question:it.there is a lot of wood in the construction.it is not a warm area,it is in the woods.i notice spiders make webs in minutes, literally.is there anything i can put on the wood to make them go away?

If they are brown and have a small body other than the legs they are Granddaddy Long legs and they are harmless, actually they kill off poisonous spiders, but since you are wanting to get rid of them, I would go to Farmers co-op and ask them for the best type of insecticide good luck and enjoy your summer house:-)
get an orange.and some whole cloves.stick the clove stems into the orange...make sure that the whole orange is covered in cloves.then put it anywhere you dont want spiders
Don't know, but I've used powdered sulfur on my children's ankles to keep bugs off, and I know sulfur powder is sometimes used on fruit trees. Put the powdered sulfur in a sock; tie a knot in the top of the sock and then pound the sock against the wall where the spiders hang out. I expect this will encourage the spiders to move elsewhere.
