Remove from pot and check the rootball. If it's really wet you could be overwatering, if dry and not holding much water and the roots are taking up a lot more space than the compost it needs a change of container. Repot in a container about 2 sizes larger than the one it's in now, use a very small handful of slow release fertiliser and mix in with a general purpose compost. To avoid overwatering always make sure the compost feels a little dry before you water. To avoid underwatering lift the pot now and again and if it feels very light you are not watering enough.
Yellow colour in leaves usually means a plant is being over watered or sitting in soil that is too wet for it.
They don't like drafts or the cold. It sounds like it is dying and I've no cure for that. Try feeding it? Has it got any sticky residue on the leaves? It could be mites or white fly? In which case spray with a bug spray. You can get them cheaply in Morrison's, Tescos etc. They are universal so kill all types.
My guess is that you are watering it too much for the leaves to yellow or the amount of light isn't correct. Have you transplanted it lately? Or do you fertilize it? Lots of possibilites for the amount of info you gave.
