How do you release the brake on a 2007 toro lawn tractor?

just guessing, but you probably need to depress the brake with your foot while releasing the knob or lever.

Does it automatically lock? if so you can just tap the peddle with your foot. If not it should have a release latch some where by the peddle. Call the store where you bought the mower.
