What can I do to my grass to make it better?

Question:I follow the scotts program, make sure I get plenty of water on it...it looks good, but not like a post card...what more can I do to make more green and plush?

Actually for a green and plush lawn like they you see in television commercials you need to plant a specific type of grass. For a very plush lawn, use a soft shaft, fine blade grass such as rye. There is a specific type that can be found at Southern States. I am foggy on the exact name but it is a fairly new type, just ask an employee. Just seed this over your current ground and it will fill in where it can.

Short of that... weed and feed, water, and pray.

try aerating you might be able to rent a machine, They do have tools but a machine would be faster maybe go in half with th coast with a neighbor
