Covered or uncovered?

Question:While treating a pool do you keep the cover on or off?

Answers:
Off, you don't want a build up of chemical fumes that might rise off the surface of the pool.

Off. Covers are great for warming up water in the spring, or keeping it warm in the fall, but covering a pool in mid-summer can encourage algal growth. Additionally, chlorine slowly eats away at the plastic of the cover, so it's best to keep it off anytime you've got high concentrations. Good luck!
