Homemade weed killer?

Question:I am looking for an enviornmently safe weed killer to make at home-it also needs to be dog friendly if that is possible-thanks in advance for your help!

Answers:
The best spot weed killer is a kettle of boiling water. Boil some water, walk out into the garden, and pour it on the weeds! They turn bright green as they cook, and they'll be dead within a day! Some big weeds might need a full kettle - aim for the center and watch them fry.

If you use this on your lawn, it does leave bald spots, but those are easily enough reseeded.

Good luck!

My horticulture teacher told me put four drops of soap and put water in it and some vegetable oil this has actualy worked for me.
