I want to grow a garden..?

Question:i live in texas, wat fruits and veggies grow good in Texas

Answers:
If you go to your local Home Depot or nursery, you will see plants that will grow well in your area. Buy small seedlings in six-packs. There will be a little stake in the pack that will tell you how far apart to plant each plant from the other. After you plant and water, put a little mulch (compost, dry grass, straw or just newspaper) around the plant to keep out the weeds and to keep the moisture in.

Good Luck!!

Hello:
I lived in Oklahoma for two years long time ago. We had a veggie garden and Orkra, tomatoes, pole beans and any type of zucchina and squash will do well. Make sure you prep properly. Water in the morning or evening. Take a look at my website at: www.landscape-solutions-for-yo... and get some more tips and techniques. Take a look at the veggie - herb- and flower garden page. Good luck to you!
