Weird looking bugs on some of my plants?

Question:There are these bugs that kinda look similiar to beetles. They have a green and goldish brown shell/back. and theyre eating my grapes, peach tree, and roses! What can I do to get rid of them!?! They were on my peach tree last year too but I didnt do anything to get rid of them... If it helps, I live in the Northeast in Southwestern PA

Answers:
Sounds like Japanese beetles. They will eat almost anything and they especially love roses.
Is this your beetle?

You can get rid of them by drowning them in soapy water. I do this all the time, they love my roses too. I just pluck them off and into a bucket of suds. Someone told me that you can spray them with soapy water from a spray bottle, too. I haven't tried that method yet, but it would be a lot easier.
Traps for J. beetles attract more beetles to your property, so beware of those.
Good luck
