I agree with the Death Bunny! Chinese Lantern IS one of the common names for Physalis. Fact. Floppy plant, perennial, orange "lantern" containing a bitter fruit.
Somtime referred to as the Chinese Lantern ppant it has a paper like covering over an orange or red fruit. If this plant become established it can be very difficult to remove as it will colonise the entire garden. Be careful tio check whether the fruit is edible or not this does not mean you taste it and see
