I need help identifying a tree.?


Question:I live in southern michigan and have a tree I'm trying to identify. It's about fifteen feet high and has several branches that start at the base. it's July and the leaves are now budding. my neighbor said it flowers. Any ideas?

Maybe a Rose of Sharon. Take a couple of leaves (and or a photo of the plant) to a local garden center. They should be able to help you.
