I live in the Austin Tx. area. Can we buy lemon grass plants to get rid of bees& wasps,etc.?

Question:I am allergic to wasps, bees and scorpions. Someone told me that Lemon Grass plants outside near home would get rid of these pesky creatures without killing them

If you are lucky enough to have a local oriental market, go see if they sell lemon grass for cooking. Mine does, and it comes with roots like green onions only bigger and tougher. Take it home and plant it! It grows very quickly,and multiplies.
