I love Persian violets and would like to grow them in my garden.?

Question:I see that they are grown mostly in the southern states. does anyone know of a hardy variety that would do well further north in Pennsylvania. Specifically zone 5-6?

Answers:
Hi,

Try C. hederfolium and C. coum ... I've also heard good things about C. cilicium - these are reported to work in zone 5 quite well, so I would think they'd perform nicely for you!

Goodluck!
