Help!! 2 zones in my "Nelson Sprinkler System" don't work.Does anybody have any suggestions? Last 2 don't go

first check your timer to see if it is sending out power to either of the two zones that arent working. you can do this by using a new valve, or a voltmeter. turn the timer on the zone not working then, with the valve, touch one of the wires to the common (usually white), then the other wire to each of the two zone wires not working.(seperatly of course do the zone wires one at a time but use the common both tests). if your new valve clicks, or hums, then the timer is fine.
if there is a short, then you will need a wire locator to find it.
if you know where the two valves that arent working are, then you could check them for power. (the same way you tested your timer, the common to one new valves wire, then the lead to the other, if it clicks or hums, then your valve or solenoid need s to be replaced.). if it doesnt, then you have a short or a cut wire somewhere. if you cant get a wire locator, then you could run new wires from your timer to the valves if its nota far distance. also check to make sure theres not a leak somewhere you cant see when the two that arent working are turned on., this will take away all of the pressure.
by the way. nelson is not a good brand. get hunter or rainbird.

hope this helps buddy.

if your water pressure is to low they won't pop, or they could be malfunctioning, try to remove one and then manually pop it using the system timer if you get good flow through the pipes then the head has been damaged in some way, just replace it and badda bing problem solved.
