Just pick up a book of wildflowers for Washington State, and you'll see! :-) I'm a botany student, and they're all tremendously important to the ecosystems here.
In terms of garden flowers - roses and gardenias are my favorites! Indoors, I grow African violets, and am newly starting to grow orchids as well :-) In short, I never met a flower I DIDN'T like!

My favorite is Angraecum magdallene, smells like cloves. Also Dendrobium christyanum, Podangis dactyloceros, Oeoniella polystachia and Cattleya forbesii, all Orchids.
