Ash tree spreading seedlings all over front lawn- Now we have loads of weeds!?
Question:I have a huge ash tree in my front yard. The tree produces seedlings which have blown all over my front yard and are now growing weeds everywhere. What can I do? Also, there is loads of moss on the tree bark. Is there anything I can do to get rid of this? Can I scrape the moss off? Are there any sprays or anything I can use to cut down on the amount of spreading of weeds in my yard from this tree. Thank you!

Just keep mowing the lawn normally, the seedlings will get the message eventually. For the moss, try Safer brand moss and algae killer. Read the instructions and follow them.

When you fertilize your lawn (spring and fall) use a weed and feed type of fertilizer.
Get some fungus spore killer spray for the moss, and just continue to mow the seedlings until they die, should'nt take but one or two cuttings at most.
